The Company
Filometal was founded in 1979 by mechanical engineer Makis Filopoulos, a graduate of the National Technical University of Athens.
His experience and expertise in metal construction since the early 1960s in distinguished companies abroad led him to create a new vertical metal processing and forming unit in Spata, Attica.
Since then, he has been involved in specialized metal constructions made of shaped iron, black and stainless metals in collaboration with the largest architectural firms in Athens.
Today, Filometal continues its distinguished course with Manolis Filopoulos and Dimosthenis Filopoulos. The latter is the third generation of the family.

Throughout its history, FILOMETAL has implemented highly complex medium and large-scale metal structures, as well as a multitude of special mechanical structures on land and at sea, from the design stage to implementation.
It is composed of experienced engineers—structural, mechanical, production, and management engineers—as well as technicians with many years of experience in metal structures and machining. Its vertical unit has been modernized with the latest technology in metalworking, cutting, welding, forming, and special painting machinery.
